  • Information Collection on Registration

    When you create an account with Agorafy you provide some personal information, such as your name, email address and password. Your privacy matters to Agorafy, and Agorafy will not share your login information with other parties. Some services, however, such as searching and looking at public profiles do not require registration. Agorafy collects the following information:

    • Email address
    • IP address
    • Statistics on page views
    • Traffic to and from the Agorafy website
  • Additional Information

    You may provide Agorafy with additional information to make public, such as an additional email address, phone number, short biography, or picture. Providing this additional information is optional but Agorafy strongly believes that establishing your public presence on the service has many benefits. Agorafy may use your contact information to send you information about Agorafy services or to market directly to you. You may unsubscribe from these messages at any time by following the instructions contained within the messages.

  • Broker Information

    Broker information is publicly available from many online sources. Agorafy actively collects this information and shares it within the Agorafy product. If you are a broker, when you create an account, you are given an opportunity to claim the matching broker profile. Once legitimate profile ownership is established, you, as a broker, have the opportunity to update and modify your information.

  • Log Data

    Agorafy may keep track of how you interact with link-ins across Agorafy services including third party services and clients by redirecting clicks or through other means. Agorafy does this to help improve Agorafy services, including advertising, and to be able to share aggregate click statistics, such as how many times a particular link was clicked.

  • Third Party Services

    Agorafy uses a variety of services hosted by third parties to help provide Agorafy Services, such as hosting our various blogs and wikis, and to help Agorafy understand the use of our Services, such as Google Analytics. These services may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP request. These service providers are under confidentiality agreements with Agorafy and may not misuse your personal data.

  • Modifying Your Personal Information

    If you are a registered user of our Services, Agorafy provides you with tools to access or modify the personal information you provided and associated with your account.

  • Agorafy's Use of Your Personal Information

    As used in this privacy policy, the terms "using" and "processing" information include using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical review or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying deleting, using, combining, disclosing, and transferring information within the Agorafy organization or among our affiliates within the United States or internationally.

  • International Transfer

    Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of the United States, your home State, Province, County or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside of the United States and choose to provide personal information, Agorafy transfers all such information to the United States and processes it there. Your consent to this privacy policy followed by your submission of your personal information represents your agreement to that transfer. Agorafy's home jurisdiction is New York City and New York State; all disputes, litigation and claims are to be heard here and are subject to the laws of the United States and New York State, no matter where the dispute may have originated.

  • Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

    Agorafy cooperates with legitimate government and law enforcement officials and private parties who use the proper legal system to enforce and to comply with the law. Agorafy will disclose any information about you to government and law enforcement officals or private parties, as Agorafy, in our sole discretion, believes necessary and appropriate to respond to claims and the legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Agorafy or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity Agorafy may consider to be, or pose a risk of being, any illegal, or unethical or legally actionable activity. Agorafy will also disclose any information about you to government, or law enforcement officials and/or our insurance service providers as Agorafy, in our sole discretion, believes necessary and appropriate to administer Agorafy and its Contents, to protect the property and rights of Agorafy or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity Agorafy may consider to be, or pose a risk of being, any illegal, or unethical or legally actionable activity. Any such demand on Agorafy must comply with the laws of the United States and the State of New York and in any conflict of law issue, the matter will be determined by the laws of the United States and/or the State of New York.

  • Phishing

    Identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to Agorafy. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. Agorafy does not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your Agorafy Account ID, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication.   • Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information

    Agorafy may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and Agorafy may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.

  • Agorafy Members and Users

    When you create an Agorafy Account, Agorafy will set up an Agorafy Account profile page for you. Your Agorafy Account profile page will include your first name and last name. You can select the other items of Personal Information that you wish to be included in your Agorafy Account profile page including, but not limited to, a profile picture. Agorafy will display your Profile Information in your Agorafy Account profile page publicly via the Site and Application, and, with your prior permission, on third party sites. Any information you choose to provide as part of your Profile Information will be publicly visible to all Agorafy Users and consequently should reflect how much you want other Agorafy Users to know about you. Agorafy recommends that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information and Agorafy encourages members to think carefully about what information about themselves they disclose in their profile pages. You can review and revise your Profile Information at any time.

  • Cookies

    Like many websites, Agorafy uses "cookies" to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that transfers to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Agorafy uses cookies for two purposes. First, Agorafy utilizes persistent cookies to save your login information for future logins to the Site and Application. Second, Agorafy utilizes session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Site and Application to better understand how you interact with the Site and Application and to monitor aggregate usage by Agorafy Users and web traffic routing on the Site and Application. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the Site, Application and Service and then close your browser. Third party advertisers on the Site and Application may also place or read cookies on your browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.   • Third Party Access

    Agorafy does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Agorafy may disclose personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that photos or other content that you upload violates others' rights, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety. Agorafy may also do so if compelled by a legitimate court order.

  • Changes to this Policy

    Agorafy may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time.
